Direct Theatre School recently delivered a series of improvisation workshops at my school. The students really enjoyed the sessions which were of an excellent standard and fun! Students developed their improvisational skills from taking part and have been able to incorporate lots of new ideas into their performances. Characterisation, Improvisation and Devising Day. Introduced the Principles of Developing Character including how to develop a character and how to use it. Provided a Status Workshop covering the methodology of looking at people and how other people react to you. Activate, Rossmore (age 16– 18)

Provided an A-Level Devising Workshop. Taught Devising Techniques and helped the students develop work they had begun individually and in groups. (by Peter Courtenay)
