A Talent to Watch!
Tiffany Hannam–Daniels, aged 15 from Bournemouth, has been marked out as a talent to watch. Having recently wowed judges at the Bournemouth Music festival Tiffany will be packing her bags and setting off for the bright lights of Los Angeles next month.
Tiffany is glowing with excitement and said ‘It’s a really exciting opportunity and it’s all thanks to the support of my parents and my really fantastic teacher Juliette Malan. I joined Direct Theatre just a year ago but they have taught me so much.’’
Direct Theatre School is a small, local theatre school run by husband and wife team Peter and Juliette Malan. They welcome students from ages 2 to 19 and embrace the principle that every student gets a chance to shine. A great place for young talent like Tiffany to gain confidence and develop their acting.
Representing Direct Theatre School at the Bournemouth Music Festival, Tiffany walked away with 8 first places, 2 second places and 4 ‘outstanding’ grades. She was overall winner of the junior championship, was awarded the Hazel Fry cup and also received the Doreen Merrifield Scholarship. The scholarship offers a full bursary to attend ‘The British & International Federation of Festivals’ summer course at Haileybury College in Hertford.
Then Tiffany will be off to America. She has been offered a lead part in a pilot for a new American television series. Tiffany will be flying to LA to film the pilot in the spring. If the pilot is successful and the series is picked up by the networks, Tiffany will have a continuous lead role. So look out for this young star from Bournemouth on your TV screens next year.
